Established in 2012, our high school is the first Catholic High School to open in the Diocese of Springfield in Illinois in over 80 years. In just a few short years, FMCHS has become the leading college-preparatory high school in southern Madison County.
I encourage you to browse our website to learn more about our high school and catch up on the latest news and events at FMCHS. We take great pride in our excellent academics, cutting edge use of technology, state-of-the-art new building, secure campus, countless hours of service to community, leadership opportunities, a growing fine arts program, expanding athletics and clubs, and family atmosphere. But above all, we are a faith-based Catholic community. At FMCHS, we give our students the spiritual tools they need for a rewarding relationship with Jesus through theology classes, weekly masses, daily prayer, and class retreats. Our spirituality, which is founded on the four pillars of the Knights of Columbus – Charity, Unity, Service and Patriotism, reflects our mission to promote a Culture of Life which sets us apart from other schools.
I invite you to consider FMCHS as an excellent choice for your high school-aged student’s educational needs by contacting myself or any of our school’s representatives. For questions or to schedule a tour, please call the Office at (618) 855-9010 or email us at info@mcgivneygriffins.com.
