Brian Taylor is from Kansas City, Kansas, and has been an "unofficial" tennis coach for the past 14 years.  He graduated from J.C. Harmon High School and continued his education at Savanna State University, earning a B.S. in Mathematics.

In 2010, Brian relocated to Edwardsville from Naples, Italy, where he served as the Logistics Officer for the U.S. Navy's Sixth Fleet. He retired in 2013 after 26 years of service from the Navy as a Lieutenant Commander.

Outside of coaching, Brian enjoys traveling, card playing, and making his world famous limoncello. He's excited to be a part of the tennis program, and hopes to take as many girls as possible to compete in the IHSA State Tennis tournament in 2024.
