The Very Reverend Jeffrey Goeckner, VF was appointed Father McGivney Catholic High School’s first school President in December of 2015 by the Board of Directors, with the full approval of the bishop of the Diocese of Springfield, Illinois.  Father Goeckner, who serves as the school’s Chaplain, is a member of the Father McGivney Catholic High School Founders Board, the Executive Board, and the Board of Directors.  He is the pastor of St. Boniface Parish in Edwardsville (2007- present) as well as the Dean of the Alton Deanery (2010-present).  Fr. Jeff, who grew up on the family farm in Bishop Creek, Illinois, is the son of Harold and Jane (Weber) Goeckner who are both retired.  Fr. Jeff is the oldest of eight children with several nieces and nephews.
