Steve Finn, PGA Professional, began his golf career in 1997 at Creve Coeur Golf Club as an Assistant Golf Professional.  After completing the PGA of America Apprenticeship, Steve was elected to Membership of the PGA in 2003.  This same year, Steve was voted by his peers as Assistant Golf Professional of the Year for the Gateway PGA Section.  Over the years, Steve has held numerous positions serving the St. Louis/Metro East golf community.  His experience spans Pevely Farms GC, Algonquin GC, Stonewolf GC, and most recently Norwood Hills CC.  Steve spent 8 years of his professional career as PGA Tournament Director for the Gateway Section.  
Steve, and his wife of 22 years, Charla, have hosted PGA Jr. Golf League for 8+ years in the Metro East.  They are proud to call The Legacy in Granite City “home” for Junior PGA programming moving forward.  Charla and Steve have 4 children and 9 grandchildren, of which many play golf in PGA Jr. League.  Steve is the Golf Coach for Father McGivney CHS Girls Golf team in Glen Carbon.  

When not at the Golf Course you might find Steve at a local dirt racetrack where he competes with his own racing team in the #18 micro-sprint.

Steve was born in Granite City, and He is thrilled to be in his home community to service the golf community at the Legacy in Granite City, Illinois.
