Mrs. Mitan grew up in Collinsville and received a Catholic education from K-12 grades. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Dance.  Mrs Mitan has two sons, both of whom are Father McGivney Alumni.  In her spare time, she enjoys playing the piano and spending time with her family and pets. She has worked in many different settings utilizing her skills in dance, design, and office management.  Since 2013, Mrs Mitan has worked in the Catholic school system and in 2017, she joined the Father McGivney Catholic High School community and has loved every minute of it.  The energy, creativity, and personalities of the students make every day an exciting adventure for her.  She considers it an honor and a privilege to be a part of this community and to participate in the development of these incredible students as they mature into amazing young adults.
