Dennis will be taking Myriam Lambiotte’s position in Spanish III and Spanish IV--dual-credit courses under the banner of the Saint Louis University 1818 Program. He has taught Spanish for 44 years in a variety of schools--domestically in seven (7) different states as well as internationally in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, South America, and the Pacific Region. Dennis has taught all levels of Spanish including International Baccalaureate (I.B.) and Advanced Placement (A.P.). He is fluent in Spanish and Italian; he is also proficient in Tagalog, French, and Portuguese. Dennis was appointed a Fulbright Scholar in 1981 and twice received grants from the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH). Dennis is interested in bringing a study-abroad program to McGivney in the summer of 2020. Dennis spent his youth on a farm approximately one mile from FMCHS and is a graduate of St. Boniface School. Most recently, Dennis taught at Holy Trinity Catholic High School in Iowa.
