Paul Vieth joined FMCHS in 2019 as the girls’ and boys’ volleyball coach. In 2021 he left his 25-year career in retail management to become a fulltime math teacher and coach. Paul attended Edwardsville High school and earned a full scholarship to play football at Illinoi State University, where he played for three years prior to getting injured. He graduated from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville with his BA in Marketing. In 2021 he went back to school to obtain his master’s degree in secondary education. Paul currently coaches for the High-Performance Volleyball Club and helped create/organize the youth sand volleyball program for the City of Edwardsville. He resides in Edwardsville with his wife Heather and daughter Madison who is currently a senior at EHS. Paul’s passion is helping kids achieve their academic and athletic goals.
